Municipal information systems as an integration form of municipal entities in the information space

international experience integrating municipalities into the information space consists of a set of processes and phenomena (prerequisite municipal information integration): development of municipal legislation with the consolidation at the international level the basic rights of local self-government, including the free exchange of information; and the development of information and communication technologies. Originating in the 1960-1970s the municipal information system as a collection of local information today purchased the system as a "municipal-global" municipal information system (MIS) consisting of thousands of systems. In world practice, the integration of municipal entities in the information space is implemented by combining such systems. Integration is fundamentally a traitor the quality of IIAs, which allows you to search and interactively access all the necessary information. Information integration of municipalities has passed a difficult way of evolution from their media agencies to the Association of municipal information systems on associative (national) – in the formation of national associations of IIAs and international – in the international municipal unions. In the globalization process IIA, and municipal information space, becoming part of a global information space that allows not only to inform about the work of local governments, but also to improve their work based on interactive participation of the local population and international experience.
