State as common and occasional meaning

The article aims to introduce the category of state as a common (general) and occasional meaning. It shows that the common meaning is a generally accepted, well-known, invariant, context and situation independent meaning understood by all native speakers, while the occasional meaning is a changeable, individual, context dependent meaning understood only by the participants of the situation. The common meaning and the occasional meaning are system forming meanings, i.e. meanings presented at various linguistic levels. State being a common and occasional meaning is introduced at different linguistic levels, for example, at lexical and grammatical level as well as syntactic level.
