Phenomenon, etymology concept of "Sport" in different historical conditions

The subject of the study is to sports as a special kind of activity, formed in different historical conditions of the development of civilization. The object of the study are the legal and other relations in the field of sports activities. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the sport as a social and cultural phenomenon and addressing the problem of understanding the essence of the concept of "sport" in different historical conditions. The author proved that different historical conditions contributed to the formation of Sports (from amateur to professional) and its individual species. The novelty of the research is to identify the key factors in the development of modern professional sports, systematization of normative legal acts that have a direct impact on labor relations in the sphere of sport. The authors concluded that in the present conditions in modern conditions not every sport believes its main outcome and purpose of health promotion and harmonious development of personality.
