"The Turkmen literature" Halyk Koroglu, a generalizing work on the history of the Turkmen national literature

The academic course-book "The Turkmenian literature" (1972) by Khalyk Korogly is reviewed in the article as the first and the only work in Russan, summarizing the subject. Firstly, there is given biographic data about the literary scholar, then goes the course-book text analysis and the appraizal of its structure and contents.
