Features of legal regulation of alimony in the USSR

This article explores the procedure for appointment and payment of alimony in family legislation of the USSR, reveals the features alimony after the bolsheviks came to power in 1917 until the fall of the soviet regime. The authors note that during the formation of the soviet legal thinking has changed as a list of persons who have the right to receive alimony and conditions of appointment, and the procedure for recovery of the amount of alimony. The authors proposed a periodization of legal regulation of maintenance obligations in the USSR, which is based on the value of the fact of marriage registration at forcing parents to pay child support.
