The appearance of the first special works and the origin of the main historiographical concepts on the history of the Kazan khanate

Scientific interest in the history of the Kazan khanate originated in the XVIII century the First studies devoted directly to this Tatar state on the territory of the Middle Volga region, was created «chronicle» with the pattern following in General the Russian tradition, founded the authoritative and conceptual works of V.N.Tatishchev and N.M.Karamzin. In General, the khanate of Kazan was presented in the scientific works of the XVIII–XIX centuries as an object of Moscow's foreign policy as hostile force with which the Russian government was forced sometimes to enter into tactical agreements.
