It is known that the development of the fundamental trends and problems of correlation of national literatures has a long and established tradition. This area of linguistics allows to take into account the diversity of formation and development of literary process in a particular national culture, to identify the specific features of the evolution of creative individuals and significant literary phenomena in their dialectical unity of General and special, traditions and innovation, etc.
In this regurd, this article is dedicated to the comparative typological study of the genesis and functioning of images and motifs of the seasons in Russian and Chinese classical poetry, continues and develops the tradition of comparative literature. Thus, in this work actualizes the problem of systematic study of national literatures in the aspect of motivic analysis poetry its most prominent representatives – A. S. Pushkin and Du Fu. This study makes a scientific contribution to the development of the theory of motive based on the author's interpretation of the imagery and motifs of the seasons in individual national literatures. The materials of this work can be used in University and school teaching Russian literature of the twentieth century, the development of special courses on history of Russian and foreign literature.
