Exchanges and cooperation of education between China and Russia began from 1689, when the Treaty of Nerchinsk was signed. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, one of the main tasks of China was to prepare experts in science, construction and management. The education system of China was also based on the experiences of the USSR. Exchanges and cooperation in the field of education between the two countries inevitably became more frequent. Subsequently, the Sino-Soviet split had an impact on educational exchanges between the two countries. After the collapse of the USSR, with the creation and development of Sino-Russian comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership exchanges and cooperation in the field of education between China and Russia continuously grow widely and deeply, and the content become richer.
