Formation of tradition of public diplomacy in the Russian-Spanish relations (on documents of public organizations from collection of the state archive of Russian Federation)

In article the structure and contents of documents of the political and cultural organizations of the USSR from a collection of the State archive of the Russian Federation reflecting development of the Russan-Spanish relations in 1970 – the beginning of the 1990th is analysed. The author comes to a conclusion that the Soviet committee of a defense of peace, Association of assistance of the UN and other similar associations, despite the ideologized nature of their activity, created a basis for the subsequent development of national diplomacy and multidimensional cultural dialogue between Russia and Spain.
