Gender differences in interpersonal complimentary communication in English speaking linguoculture

The paper focuses upon gender differences in communication and the frequently occurring lack of mutual understanding as a result of different views on efficient verbal interaction. The cultural approach is considered to be the most effective in explaining the gender differences in speech: boys' and girls' and subsequently adult males' and females ways of life are different subcultures determining speech differences.
