The article deals with the question of folding Kuban merchants in the last decades of the nineteenth century. Undoubtedly, sustained interest in a domestic enterprise, the conditions and characteristics of trade and financial activities within the framework of the capitalization of the country, which is apparent in the post-reform period, remains relevant today.
Special attention is paid to regional peculiarities of development of entrepreneurship, which is often viewed in the context of ideological controversy surrounding the fate of capitalism in Russia, discussions about the economic and political role of the Russian bourgeoisie in comparison, for example, with the Western analogies. In this article, the authors give special emphasis on the specifics of economic development of the Kuban in the postreform period, highlighting common elements, characteristic of the region.
In virtue of the unique geographical situation of the Kuban, as well as agrogeologes, has provided fast growth of economy of the region, which is manifested mainly in the agricultural sector.
Agrarian specificity of the Kuban region predetermined the vector of industrial development of region, important sectors of which were flour milling and vegetable oil production.
