Dynamics of historical legal progress in the views of P.N. Milyukov

H Historical and philosophical views of PN Milyukova largely revealed in his criticism of the Slavophiles. Slavophile idea finally exhausted itself, "Slavophilism has died and has risen," believed Miliukov. At the same time he himself was in no hurry to rank as Westerners. Miliukov did not associate himself or to Westerners, nor to the Slavophiles, including their spores 40-70 years out of date. Most slavjanofilstvo provoked criticism Milyukova idea of "fixed identity" of the Russian people. In his mind the cultural and historical types of no more than a historical milestone in the path of all the nations. He also rejects the Slavophiles to the community as an expression of the Russian idea. The community in the liberal interpretation of PN Miliukov - it is also a natural process of fixing the landlords peasants, and not a manifestation of the national spirit.
