The Importance of Emotional Intelligence in Critical Thinking Development at the Lessons of Special Purpose Foreign Language

the article states the importance of emotional intelligence for critical thinking development at ESP lessons. The survey of scientific works permits to conclude that emotional intelligence and critical thinking contribute to foreign language communicative competence development and professional success of university graduates. The research proves that academics should work out teaching approach under which students’ cognition could be perceived as both cognitive and emotional process.
