Problems of source study of the archive inventoryies

The article discusses the possibility of using archival inventories as a historical source. Comprehensive analysis of the object of study, the author comes to the conclusion that the potential of the source study of archival inventories is undervalued, because the archival practice, the rights of archival inventories used more than 200 different species, types and forms of documentation. Information potentials species, types and forms of archival documents are not equivalent and therefore require detailed study.
