Oil diplomacy: cooperation between Azerbaijan and the USA in oil business in the 1990s

The article is devoted to early years of the second oil boom in Azerbaijan, including cooperation between the Oil Company of Azerbaijan and oil companies of the USA. Oil fields of these countries on Apsheron Peninsula and in Pennsylvania made such companies as «BraNobel» and «Standard Oil» world famous. They became not only founders of the first world oil boom, but also the whole world oil business.
