Monopolization of petroleum production at Baku enterprises and activity of socar in the 1990s

The article is dedicated to problems of monopolization of petroleum production at Baku enterprises in the 1990s and an activity of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijani Republic which not only had been providing economic operations, but also had been working on joint projects and development of new contracts for signing. The article analyzes statistics of producing oil and gas in Azerbaijan and reveals reasons for a growth of the state company’s revenues due to oil export, petroleum production and modernization of plants.
