Syntactic functions and structural features of attributive characteristics of the characters of fairy tales

By studying attributive characteristics of characters of Russian and English fairy tales their basic syntactic functions and structural models were marked. A comparison of the results on the material of the two languages, as well as with the relevant data of Russian and English fairy tales about animals were given. It was possible to show some generalizations of a broader range, in particular, the dialogical nature of Russian fairy tales.
