Ethnolinguistic peculiarities of Russian and Tatar linguistic world-images in comparative aspect

This article represents a comparative analysis of ethnolinguistic peculiarities of Russian and Tatar linguistic world-images. Having compared these world-images according to a number of criteria, the author comes to the conclusion that they have more different features than common ones despite the continuous cohabitation of peoples on the same territory – because of different mentalities, morphological and grammatical peculiarities of languages and different ways of thinking as a result. Different religions and different historical ways are also of great importance. However, Russian and Tatar linguistic world-images share a number of common values.
