About the current state of the question of the origin of Indo-Europeans

Article is devoted to some aspects of a problem of an origin of Indo-Europeans. There are noted approaches to its decision which lost the scientific value so far, but continue to be exaggerated in pseudo-scientific circles. Hypotheses concern to those,are so-called "Indian" and "Arctic". Then, difficulties in definition of accurately localized ancestral home of Indo-Europeans are stated. An exit can be found in revision of understanding of an Indo-European ancestral home and initial Indo-Europeans.
