Historical experience of formation and activity of the Russian lawyer corporation in 1991 - 2016: theoretical problems of studying

Article is devoted to justification of scientific relevance and key theoretical questions of a research of the latest period in the history of the Russian legal profession. The author considers features of historical and legal approaches to studying of the legal and public status of the lawyer in the Russian Federation, analyzes subject and the main results of scientific publications on this subject, characterizes completeness and a variety of the available documentary materials on stories of the Russian legal profession at a boundary of the XX-XXI century. In article the conclusion is drawn on essential scientific relevance of a scientific and historical research of a subject of formation and activity of the Russian lawyer corporation in 1991 - 2016 which studying is provided with existence of a complex of historiographic and historical sources.
