In the article aspects of a problem of pedagogical support for creation of a situation of success for senior pupils in the educational environment of school with the purpose of the general development of the person as the subject of own life and activity are considered. According to the author's position, the success situation is the organized and purposeful activity of the pedagogical collective in creating conditions for the students to experience positive personally significant social experience and to receive support from all subjects of the educational space. On the basis of generalization of different views and approaches to pedagogical support for creating a situation of success in the educational environment of the school, the author deduces general principles of the process of taking into account the zone of the student's immediate development, assuming gradual complication of activities in accordance with the dynamics of personality development; the need for pedagogical support; the need for students to overcome difficulties on their way to success; the need for interaction between all subjects of the school's educational space and taking into account the individuality of each child. The author draws attention to the fact that the basis of the process of pedagogical support for creating a situation of success for senior pupils in the educational environment of the school should be to monitor the interests and potential of students in order to determine the actual areas of interest in success, in this case, success will be experienced as a personally significant and valuable experience of activity in the sphere of greatest interest.
