Comparative description of intonation between Thai and Russian languages in linguo-didactic purposes

The article shows similarities and differences between the intonational systems of Russian and Thai languages, which must be taken into account when teaching Russian language to Thai students. For successful communication, it is important not only the correct pronunciation of words, but also the correct intonational pattern of the statement, according to the situation of communication. The formation of intonational skills is complicated if the phonetic systems of contacting languages differ from each other significantly. The results of a comparative analysis of the intonation of Russian and Thai languages can be used to develop a methodology for teaching Thai students the phonetic aspect of the Russian language.
