The activities of the Soviet military advisers and specialists in the DPRK during the Korean war of 1950-1953

This article discusses the participation of Soviet military specialists in the democratic people's Republic during the Korean war. From 1950 to 1953 on the Korean Peninsula was a global military conflict during the Cold war between North Korea (DPRK) and South Korea(Republic of Korea). Despite the fact that the Soviet Union declared itself as a neutral party, the Soviet military advisers provided considerable assistance in the organization of the armed forces of the DPRK. A very long time, the details of Soviet involvement in the Korean war was classified. And only after the collapse of the USSR documents were made public, allowing to further study the activity of the Soviet military advisers. So, the purpose of this article is to find out what is the role of Soviet military advisers in the Korean war. The participation of Soviet military experts on the side of one of the warring parties in the Korean war allows you to have a holistic understanding of the nature of the political confrontation on the Korean Peninsula and identify the details of participation by Soviet military advisers on the side of North Korea in the Korean war 1950-1953
