The health insurance system in Germany in the context of regional disparities in the state

The article presents the analysis of the history of reforming the system of compulsory medical insurance in the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1990s – 2000s, the Article examines the changing health insurance system in the context of regional disparities in Germany through the prism of such indicators as average life expectancy in Western and Eastern Germany, the level of fertility and mortality, changing age structure of society.
