Anglo-American contradictions in the Middle East

Shibaeva Viktoriya Mikhailovna  (Ryazan State University named after S.A. Yesenin (Ryazan))

The article is devoted to the study of Anglo-American foreign policy in the Middle East. The special attention is paid to the fact that after the Second World War both the USA and Great Britain were trying to ensure their positions in this region. Intentions of the allies lead to the clash of mutual interests and as a result their relations became more complicated. The author also observes the main reasons of the Suez crisis beginning.
