Contribution of Russian entrepreneurs in development fish industry of Daghestan at the end of XIX - the beginning of XX century

The article is devoted to the description of the contribution of the Russian population of Dagestan and Russian entrepreneurs to such a branch of Dagestan's industry as the fish industry. Special attention is paid to the distinctive features of the two stages in the development of the fish industry of pre-revolutionary Dagestan within which favorable conditions were created for the introduction of Russian capital into the development of fisheries in Dagestan and their transformation into a fishing industry that on the eve of World War I occupied one of the leading places in the housekeeper of the Dagestan region.
