Reflection of the history of Kazym cultural center in oral poetic folklore of the Kazym Khanty people

On the basis of the oral poetic folklore of the Khanty people the article describes the work of the Kazym cultural center, which in the 1930-s was intended to implement into the life of Northern people the Soviet education and healthcare. The study shows that the oral poetic folklore of the Khanty people in the form of agitation songs was one of the mechanisms of regime for implantation "the socialist way of life" and cultural transformation of a small northern nation.
