The settlers, as a source of child neglect in the 30-ies of the XX century (On example of the Urals)

The article based on the sources identified one of the political reasons for the growth of homeless and neglected children. Reviewed measures undertaken by local and Federal authorities to eliminate this social scourge. On the basis of the sources analyzed the General condition of orphanages and children's municipalities, their provision with food and industrial goods. The article presents previously unpublished sources.
