History of development of higher pedagogical institutions in the Russian Far East

currently, teacher education in Russia is undergoing a series of reforms that lead to re-evaluation of spiritual, moral, social and traditional values of Russian culture and society. Searching for approaches to structuring the teaching activities of educational organizations. Considering the issues of establishing a new system of teacher education, cannot rely on experience that has been accumulated in the entire history of public education in Russia. Higher education has gained a wide experience in training. This article is devoted to the history of the oldest higher educational institutions of the Russian Far East. Traces the development of higher pedagogical education in the Far East of Russia and its role in modern conditions.
