Explication in literary translation

Explication is an important strategy in translation, especially in literary translation. This article is devoted to researching the strategy explication and revealing reasons for the use of this strategy. Equivalence is an important sign, which makes the translation different from other language activities, explication has a close connection with pragmatic equivalence. In the end, with comparison of literary works and their translations we will summarize specific methods of explication in literary translations.
