The article is devoted to the identification of the features of the image of love and death in the creativity of I.A. Bunin and B.K. Zaytsev and to the comparative studying of the essential similar lines. The author designates the problem on the example of two works: “Natali” (Bunin) and “Agrafena” (Zaytsev). The typological similarities in the writers’ works are considered at different levels.
