The article deals with the Spanish translations of the prose poem by V. Yerofeyev “Moscow-Petushki”. It is spoken about the particularities of the author’s style and the genre or the text in the perception of Spanish readers. The article gives a detailed analysis of the principal lexico-stylistic changes that had affected the text while it was being translated into Spanish. Much attention is given to the combination of different stylistic registers, orthographic features and emotive lexis.
