The problems of intertextuality and philological context in Spanish translation of the Russian literature of the late XX century

The article gives an analysis of the culture-specific and intertextual elements translation. It is spoken in detail about the types of the intertextual elements which are considered as the basic characteristic of the Venedict Yerofeyev’s prose. Much attention is given to the sources of cultural references. The examples provided demonstrate the principal translation strategies which had been used to reproduce the culturally relevant units.
