Peculiarities of synonymy in Russian and German languages

Synonymic possibilities of the Russian language are very large. Flexibility of our language "in their speech patterns and means," was mentioned by Alexander Pushkin, implying the wealth of Russian words, which allow a concept to be expressed in the spectrum of different colors. The relevance of the research topic is the general theoretical significance of the relationship of synonymy in linguistics. The object of study is synonymic lexis of the Russian and the German languages. The subject of research is the German and the Russian languages.
