Category "author's meaning": peculiarities of manifestation and parameterization

The article touches upon the issue of the literary text analysis, viewing it as both a verbal and non-verbal object, reflecting the author’s worldview and his subjective attitude towards reality. Reasons are suggested for the interest of modern linguistic researchers being shifted towards the creative language personality. The literary text is presented as a specific dialogue between a writer and a reader extended in space and time. A special attention is paid to the process of sense production being an act of collective creative work of a writer and a reader. In accordance with the purpose of the article language means of author’s sense actualization were analyzed, as well as the category “author’s sense” was defined and provided with a list of descriptive features.
