Cognitive aspect of combinatorics of compositional paired phrases in English and Russian

The present paper focuses on the language representation of the objects of reality. Our investigation is based on the idea of the linguistic sign built on the iconic principle. We research the compositional paired phrases in English and Russian expressing gender opposition. The empirical material based on the data got in dynamics through the Google search engine. The digital data provide information about the frequency of occurrence of the phrase in the search engine. The experimental data show the relationship between the combinatorics of phrases and the frequency of occurrence in the search system and the peculiarities of the language representation of objects of reality in English and in Russian.
