The phenomenon of «chernukha» and the transformation of northern discourse in Russian literature of Yakutia

The article deals with the transforming effect of the phenomenon of «chernukha» on the northern literary discourse. The material is the works of V. Shelegov and Y. Chertov, published in Yakutia in 1970-1990's. Sociocultural, social and psychological changes introduced by Perestroika and recorded in the literary texts of «chernukha» are analyzed. The main changes introduced by the «neo-realistic» literature into the socialist realism’s northern discourse are singled out.
