Modern linguistics deals with different aspects of professional communication due to its great importance. The article is aimed at studying the problems of healthсare practioners interaction within scientific community. Different characteristics of medical scientific discourse such as goals, terminology, communicative strategies reveal communication participants scientific image of the world. Communicative strategies serve the achievement of communicative goals and are analyzed by means of discourse analysis and interpretative analysis. Having analyzed speech patterns of the healthcare practioners the authors identify such communicative strategies as “Persuasion”, informative-interpretative, and rhetorical.
