Territorial production complexes for the manufacture of tanks in the Urals in 1945–1950: problems of transformation and conversion

The article is devoted to the main consequences of conversion in the tank industry in the post-war period. The tank industry is viewed from the point of view of the allocation of large structures into which the main industries were integrated. Considering the realities of the Soviet command economy of that time, and based on the theory of clusters in the Urals, it is possible to single out the territorial production complexes (TPС) for the production of heavy and medium tanks.
