Effect and important role of authentic materials in teaching the foreign language

Article is devoted to studying of a question of efficiency and importance of authentic materials in teaching a foreign language. The authors designated relevance and degree of readiness of a problem of a research. The essence of the term «authentic materials» in french, german and the russian scientific basis is considered. The key functions realized in the course of training in a foreign language with use of authentic materials are concretized. The emphasis on need of gradual introduction of authentic materials at initial stages of studying of French and German is placed.
