The article discloses the notion of bilinguism with regards to the Russian reality where each bilingual student can easily communicate in Russian except for his native language. We define bilinguism as fluent possession of two languages. In our research the author proves the relevance of the study taking into account the fact that by means of using two language systems and such learning the citizens of modern Russian Federation are bilingual students of a completely new type. Here we mean people who don’t speak a mixed language. Its origin is due to social and historical facts. This person can be called a “marginal bilingual student”. Considering the peculiarities of the representation of the subjective connotation of a word in the consciousness of bilingual students the author stresses that besides the objective connotation of a word which is common for all native speakers of a particular language, the subjective connotation of a word is represented in the consciousness of bilingual students. It is unique for every single person. Thanks to such division of a meaning, the existence of individual dialect of every personality becomes possible.
