Students’ ethnic tolerance education project work on the example of “National Cultures’ Festival”

The article considers the project "National Cultures’ Festival" developed by the team of the Humanitarian faculty of TUSUR, specialty "Organization of work with youth" on young people’ ethnic tolerance education in extracurricular time. The aim was to develop an innovative form of leisure activities for students for their ethnic tolerance facilitation. The main tasks include the following: - to study the ethnic identity of TUSUR students; - to develop and determine the content of the project "National Cultures’ Festival" as a method of working with students in extracurricular time. The results obtained during the project work indicate that to improve the statistics and increase the number of students with the type of ethnic identity "norm", it is necessary to develop and test new forms of work with students. After all, without the constant support and systematic work, the situation can quickly become a negative trend.
