Cognitive strategy as a basis for the interpretation of a literary text

article is devoted to the actual linguistic task - the study and analysis of the process of interpreting a literary text. The work identifies the key problems of understanding and interpreting the work. The paper concludes that the comprehension of a literary text is a complex, multidimensional process of decoding an author's message, requiring the use of adequate strategies for cognitive activity. The author gives an overview of views on the concept of "cognitive strategy", and also gives its main semantic components.
