Cognitive space “good – evil” in the proverbs of the Russian language

This article is devoted to the study of Russian proverbs about good and evil, reflecting the peculiarities of the world perception of the Russian people. The main cognitive models of good and evil, their connection with values and archetypes are revealed. It is concluded that in the Russian language consciousness can be traced optimistic views of the world and faith in justice and goodness.
