The application of exile in the Moscow state in the XVI century

Belova Nadezhda Alekseevna  (Vologda Institute of Law and Economics of the Federal agency of Execution of Punishments)

The article considers issues related to the use of exile in the Russian state in the XVI century. Based on the analysis of historical sources and scientific literature, the specificity of the application of this punitive measure in the considered period of time is shown, its main forms are disclosed, attention is paid to the scale and geography of forced removal.
