Resettlement structures in Dagestan (the end of XIX – the beginning of the XX centuries)

In the article, the process of intensive formation of resettlement farms in the territory of Dagestan, which dates back to the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, is studied. and is associated mainly with the resettlement policy of the Russian government and the construction of the Vladikavkaz railway. The main emphasis is made on the formation of various types of settlements of colonists created in Temir-Khan-Shura and Khasavyurt districts in the specified chronological framework.
