On improvisation and pragmatic approach in English lessons

The authors speculate about the role of some improvised activities in English lessons. A lively spontaneous statement can produce an impulse and a sense of freedom, which is important for speaking a foreign language. The article provides some pragmatic examples and techniques which can be used by the teacher to encourage creative utterances and discussions.
