Taxis and iterativity: inter-categorical interaction

The article deals with the functional-semantic categories of taxis and iterativity in the aspect of their inter-categorical interaction. Within the framework of the polycategorical subcomplex of taxis and iterativity, various iterative-taxi categorical situations (iterative, multiplicative, distributive) containing semantic components with different degrees of prototypicity are updated in statements with prepositional deverbatives. In addition, multiple-type statements represent conjugate iterative-taxic categorical situations: temporal-iterative-taxic, instrumental-iterative-taxic, medial-iterative-taxic, conditional-iterative-taxic and others.
