The main milestones of the biography of the tatar statesman K.G. Mukhtarov (1896-1937)

The article examines the biography and state, social and political activities of the people's Commissar of health, Chairman of the SNK of the TASSR K. G. Mukhtarov. It reveals his contribution to the construction of the Tatar ASSR, overcoming the famine of the early 1920s in the Volga region. The author emphasizes its role in the formation of the Tatar language as the state language of the Republic. Attention is drawn to little-known facts in his biography: K. G. Mukhtarov was the champion of the first Ural Olympic games and the champion of Moscow in football.
