Plot-game method in teaching children to various swimming styles

The article discusses the didactic and methodological possibilities of the plot-game method in teaching various swimming styles of preschool children. The author considers this issue from the perspective of the formation of the need-motivational sphere of children, due to interest and a desire to learn playing. The article considers simple and complicated exercises, the development of which can be implemented on the basis of the plot-game method. The results of experimental activities are presented, which prove the effectiveness and efficiency of the plot game in teaching children different swimming styles. The use of the plot-game method in teaching children to swim at the initial stage and in mastering the technique of movements with various styles is the most effective. The plot game makes the lesson interesting, multi-tasking in the game plan, which forms a high interest of children in performing exercises.
